Healthy Lunch Tips
You can enjoy a healthy and flavorful lunch with NAKANO Rice Vinegar and a little planning. We've put together a list of tips for saving calories and cash. You might even have time to squeeze in a walk on a nice day if you're not waiting in line for your lunch.
-
Build your own wrap or salad with your favorite ingredients and splash on NAKANO for a quick flavor boost without the fat from mayo or dressing.
-
Bake a potato in the microwave, open it up and splash with NAKANO. Top with shredded carrots, minced green onions or other toppings of your choice. (be sure to pierce holes with a fork and wrap the potato in a damp paper towel to retain moisture, cook 4-8 minutes depending on microwave wattage and potato size)
-
Splash some NAKANO on your canned tuna for a zesty salad topper or pita stuffing.
-
A little NAKANO can also liven up that frozen entree you've had in the back of the freezer or the can of soup you found in your desk drawer.
Prep ahead at home
-
Mince some green onions and shred some carrots (they’ll last a week or so in the fridge at work)
-
Hard boiled eggs
-
Clean a week’s worth (5) of large lettuce leaves for wraps instead of tortillas or flat bread to hold meats and veggies. Place a paper towel between each rinsed leaf; place leaves in plastic bag and refrigerate.
