Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder with Spicy Sauce

Ingredients

5 lbs. Pork shoulder, trimmed
Salt
Pepper
1 Tbsp. Herbes de provence
2 cups water or beer
1 bottle WORLD HARBORS Asian Style Sweet Chili or Asian Inspired Sriracha Sauce

Directions

Place pork in large casserole dish.  Season all over with salt, pepper and herbs. Cover and let rest 30 minutes.  Pork can be marinated up to 3 hours. 

Preheat oven to  350°F. Rub pork again and place on baking pan. Add 2 cups water or beer to pan and cover with foil.  Bake 5 hours. 

Remove pork from oven and let rest 30 minutes.

 Remove chunks of cooked pork from juicy pan and onto a platter. Pull meat away from fatty portions and reserve the meat on baking pan. When all meat is pulled, top it with the remaining pan. Return to oven uncovered for 10 minutes to glaze chili sauce, then serve over spaetzle or cooked cabbage!
