Apple Cider Glazed Beef Skewers

Lightly Pickled Cucumber
1 cup Mizkan’s Nature’s Intent Pickling Vinegar

1 cup cucumber, half-moon sliced


Apple Cider Glazed Beef Skewers
12 oz skirt steak, diced into ½ oz pieces

1 cup Mizkan organic Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tsp. lemon juice

2 tsp. chili paste

3 Tbsp. maple syrup

1 Tbsp. red jalapeno puree

1 clove garlic, chopped

1 Tbsp. green onion, chopped

½ tsp. ginger, chopped

1 tsp. cilantro, chopped

6 Tbsp. brown sugar

1 tsp. salt

Sesame seeds, toasted

6 wooden skewers


  1. To make the pickled cucumbers, mix the cucumber and vinegar together in a bowl and refrigerate it for 24 hours.
  2. To make the Apple Cider Glazed Beef Skewers, first combine all of the ingredients except for the sesame seeds. Let the steak marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Once marinated, place 3 pieces of steak per skewer and cook it on a skillet over high heat. You want to sear the beef on all sides for 2 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the skewers with sesame seeds and serve with pickled cucumbers and pimento grits.
