Mini Waffle Breakfast Sandwhich

TIME: 20 minutes
PRODUCTS: Mizkan Green Chilies


Waffle Batter
2 eggs

1 2/3 cups milk

1/3 cup vegetable oil

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 Tbsp. baking powder

2 Tbsp. sugar

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla


Bourbon Butter
4 oz butter, softened

3 Tbsp. bourbon


Mini Waffle Breakfast Sandwich
1 ½ cups waffle batter

2/3 cup Mizkan Green Chilies

1 Tbsp. green chile jam

1 sugar glazed bacon strip

1 egg

1 Tbsp. red pepper maple syrup

1 Tbsp. bourbon butter


  1. To make waffle batter, combine the wet ingredients in a bowl and dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Gently combine the two and stir until just incorporated; you don’t want to over-mix.
  2. To make the bourbon butter, stir the bourbon into the softened butter until evenly incorporated.
  3. To make the sandwich, mix the waffle batter and Mizkan Green Chilies.
  4. Pour proper amount of batter on waffle griddle and cook until done.
  5. While the waffle is cooking, scramble the egg to your liking.
  6. To assemble, cut the waffle in half and spread the green chili jam on one side; top it with your scrambled egg and bacon.
  7. Cut the waffle sandwich in half again and top it off with bourbon butter and red pepper maple syrup.
