Strawberry and Plum Shrub

TIME: 20 minutes
PRODUCTS: Mizkan Apple Cider Vinegar

Ingredients

1 cup strawberries, halved

1 cup fresh plums

2 cups brown sugar

2 tsp. black peppercorns

1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar

2 cups Mizkan Apple Cider Vinegar

½ cup strawberries, sliced

½ cup plums, diced

2 cups ginger ale

Directions

  1. To make the shrub, combine strawberries, plums, brown sugar, black peppercorns, balsamic vinegar, and Mizkan Apple Cider Vinegar in a jar and refrigerate it for 7 days.
  2. After 7 days, strain out the fruit and peppercorns.
  3. Fill each glass of ice with the shrub and ½ cup of ginger ale.
